| As my
youthful adventures continued, I got to enjoy many fun things that would
build a set of memories which I enjoy sharing with you now. As I said before, Keith became my new best friend and he & I shared many adventures together. Such as : trapping wild animals in the local wilderness; camping out (even if it was only in his back yard in a tent); swimming in his in-ground pool; fixing up our bicycles (so they would be the "coolest" things in the neighborhood); and playing an assortment of back yard sports (such as : soft ball, football, bad mitten and croquet). Life was simple for us kids and we tried to enjoy every minute of it ! My other friends included : Geno, his brother Todd, his other brother Craig, another kid named Todd, Paul, Mike, Kenny and my brother Jamie. There were other kids that I played with as a young child, but, their names escape me now. I do apologize and ask if you were one of them, please accept my deepest apology as my failing memory is to blame. I remember events but, not always who was there. So, bare with me as I share what I remember. As this project continues and expands, I may enlist the help of those who I am able to contact and are willing to assist me. Their memories may be better than mine and they may be able to contribute information that I can include in this book. |
